S Kelly Building Contractors have an established ethos of customer care proven by our retained clients and repeat business.
We are possibly unique in London in being of a size sufficient to offer a fully comprehensive range of services yet every project we undertake, and every client, is personally known to one of our Directors.
We know of no other contractor that operates this way and through this we have maintained excellent working relationships with many customers, working with some since our inception almost 20 years ago.
Public Sector
Over the years we have extended this philosophy to our supply chain partners, many of whom have followed our lead and bought in to this approach, and where beneficial these partners also play key roles in the interface with the client.
Primarily we are geared to the Public Sector with 80% of our work being with:
- Housing Associations
- Local Authorities
- Healthcare and Schools.

Furthermore our Special Works arm operates with private clients and such work includes commercial shops, office fit outs and private residential house building.
Accreditations
We have NICEIC, I.P.H.E, CORGI, H.V.C.A accreditations, are registered with Constructionline, Environment Agency, CHAS and NHBC, and looking to further ISO 9000 compliance.
Ideally Located
From our headquarters in Harlesden we are well placed to access all areas of London and the South East whilst our premises offer sufficient storage for all of our plant and materials needs.
The construction industry is often beset with programme issues affecting delivery. Unlike many of our competitors, who subscribe to the “just in time” system of materials provision, we took the decision many years ago to invest in a company headquarters of sufficient capacity that we can bring forward the material delivery process.
We aim to ensure that all materials and plant is ordered and in our possession before being required on site. As an example this has greatly facilitated our Decent Homes commissions where ample supplies in house, we feel, are an essential pre requisite for working in occupied homes.
Our site operatives are all based local to our headquarters and we also offer in – house Resident Liaison staff should this be required by a client. We welcome the opportunity to work with local labour training organisations and the CITB.
